Gadgets wise, you will want the fastest and longest ranged explosives provided you know where enemies will come from. The MG36 punctures reasonably anything you cannot puncture, you may want to throw a grenade into for expediency. Unless you are frivolous with the ammunition, a recoil control stock on the MG36 will pretty much allow you to whack all the terrorists on high density the secondary weapon you bring along should be for certain cases (for example, shotguns at close quarters, or an assault rifle for sniping). A box magazine allows you to reload faster in RSV2 (although truth be told, the M249 SAW has a drum/box magazine that is not available for use in this game).
